Peaking at 731 m and on the south-eastern boundary of the Haute-Vienne, Mont Gargan offers visitors its natural, cultural and historical wealth: heathlands, peat bogs, centuries-old beech avenue or 19th-century religious remains are all to see along a discovery trail: the remains of the Notre Dame de Bon Secours chapel, the fountain of devotions, the memorial stone commemorating acts by the Resistance. Mont Gargan has been listed nationally as a natural monument site. It is also an important landscape of the Millevaches in the Limousin Regional Nature Park.
